Peer Pressure

There was a young man from Seattle

Who was fed up of listening to prattle

Said he’d come out of hidin’   and go voting for Biden

Aware he’d be starting a battle.

He usually voted Republican

And his friends did the same to a man

But when they voted for Trump

He decided to jump

And never go back there again.

His friends were aghast at his choice

Saying where did he get his advice

When all’s said and done

He had nowhere to run

And was paying a terrible price.

But this man has a mind of his own

And his heart is not made of stone

He will vote the right way

When the cause is okay

And return to the comforts of home.
